One of the realities that makes the church so significant is that it is not a building, but a body of redeemed souls. It is not merely a geographical designation with an address, but a theological community with a mission.
The church is a battalion of blood-bought souls embarking together on the most high-stakes mission in the universe, namely, the Great Commission. Therefore, it is of the essence that as a church, we connect together in redemptive relationships.
At Christ Community we have a number of unique ways that owners can use their gifts to help advance the Great Commission. At CCBC we have what we call “ministry teams”, which are various ministry teams led by owners within the congregation at CCBC. These team correspond roughly to the lists of gifts found in Romans 12:4-8 and seek to provide opportunities for owners to do what they already love to do in the context of ministry for the Great Commission.
